Convicted pedophile Rolf Harris is planning a shock comeback and begged his team to find him a new show to present because he is ‘going nuts’ after being released from prison.
The 91-year-old, who presented Animal Hospital and Rolf’s Cartoon Club, was jailed for five years for indecently assaulting four girls aged between eight and 19.
He was freed after serving three years at HMP Stafford in May 2017 and he has been asking members of his team to find him either TV work or concerts to perform
The Australian entertainer told his family that he is ‘going nuts’ after being released from prison and added he is ‘desperate’ to work again.
Rolf genuinely believes he could still have a career after everything that’s gone on and he is so grateful to the town of Rhyl for giving him this opportunity.
A source told us “Rolf is 91 now and he is desperate to restore his public image. He is entering the final years of his life and he is a natural born entertainer. He feels enough time has passed now and he hopes the public are willing to forgive and forget his historic crimes.
Rhyl (North Wales) was a massive tourist attraction in the 1970’s and 80’s but sadly the town became dilapidated. Denbighshire council have now started restoring the town to it’s former glory and have recently hosted some big names at Rhyl Pavilion and the events arena. Welsh legend Sir Tom Jones performed there only only this week.
Rolf Harris was born in Bassendean, Western Australia but his parents Agnes & Cromwell Harris had both emigrated from Wales. Not many people are aware of this but Rolf is extremely proud of his Welsh heritage and is delighted that he has been given the opportunity to perform in front of a Welsh audience.
Tour dates are not confirmed yet but paperwork has been signed.
